OPTIV M CMM – upgrade with the new vision sensor

Enhance your OPTIV M coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with the latest vision sensor, which provides 2 x larger field of view and significantly boosts measurement throughput.

With the expanded field of view, a larger portion of the workpiece is visible to the vision sensor, reducing the number of images required to measure the entire component and thus decreasing measurement time.

The new vision sensor, combined with PC-DMIS MultiCapture, allows more elements to be captured and measured simultaneously within the broader field of view, speeding up the inspection process.

Measurements within the field of view are highly repeatable, as reduced stage movements lead to less mechanical variance affecting the measurement. Vision sensor upgrade kit includes:

  • 5 megapixel digital CMOS camera
  • 10x motorised zoom optics
  • LED top light and LED back light with large illumination area
  • Machine size specific mechanical components.

PC-DMIS version 2025.1 or higher is required.
