The standard kit includes retrofittable sensors for ambient temperature and humidity, plus vibration and collision monitoring - along with all required accessories - delivering real-time alerts and reliable condition visibility around the machine.
PULSE is a state-of-the-art smart sensor system designed for condition monitoring on coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). It ensures full awareness of environmental and operational conditions that may influence CMM reliability by continuously monitoring temperature, humidity, vibrations and collisions.
With retrofittable sensors that can be integrated into any CMM, PULSE helps keep your machines operating within specified conditions and reduces the risk of unreliable measurement results by detecting unnoticeable events or condition changes. Real-time notifications and seamless data integration enable fast response and consistent oversight across your metrology environment. PULSE is available for all Hexagon coordinate measuring machines and other metrology devices.

Use of PULSE on Hexagon CMMs
Operating System (host PC):
- PULSE operates under with 64-bit Windows 10 (or higher) as operating system.
- No other operating systems are supported.
CMM Controller and Metrology Software
- Hexagon controllers B5, FDC and HexMF (MAESTRO).
- PULSE is compatible with PC-DMIS and QUINDOS. PULSE can work with older controllers, but it will be limited to environmental monitoring capabilities only (temperature, humidity, shock monitoring). It will not be able to correlate such environmental conditions with the operating status of the CMM (measuring, idle, …).
Use of PULSE on non-Hexagon CMMs
